How The Service Works
Step 1: Book Your Virtual Risk Assessment
All appointments begin with a:
30-minute virtual vaccination risk assessment consultation
Once booked, you will receive:
-
a booking confirmation email,
-
a secure consultation link,
-
and a medical questionnaire to complete before your appointment.
Step 2: Complete Your Health Questionnaire
Before your appointment, we ask patients (or representative) to complete a health questionnaire covering:
-
medical history,
-
current medication,
-
allergies,
-
previous vaccinations,
-
and the reason for your enquiry.
This helps the clinical team assess suitability safely and effectively before your consultation.
Step 3: Virtual Consultation With The Pharmacy Team
During your appointment, a pharmacist will discuss:
-
your enquiry,
-
vaccine suitability,
-
risks and benefits,
-
expected dosing schedules,
-
potential side effects,
-
and whether vaccination may be appropriate.
Some patients may be advised:
-
vaccination is not appropriate,
-
to seek GP/NHS advice,
-
or that no vaccination is currently recommended.
A consultation does not guarantee vaccination will be provided.
Step 4: In-Pharmacy Vaccination Appointment
If vaccination is considered appropriate and you wish to proceed privately, you will then be invited to attend the pharmacy for administration of the vaccine.
Vaccine costs vary depending on:
-
the vaccine selected,
-
number of doses required,
-
and manufacturer availability.
A full quotation will be discussed before proceeding.
Example Vaccines Commonly Discussed
Chickenpox (Varicella): From £70 per dose
Shingles Vaccination: From £199 per dose
HPV Vaccination: From £150 per dose
MenB Vaccination: From £110 per dose
*Prices are subject to change and may vary depending on manufacturer supply and dosing schedule requirements.
