Risk Assesment

You can book an appointment via the phone, during normal working hours, or request an appointment using the booking link at the bottom of the page - one of our team will then be in touch to confirm your request or offer you an alternative date or time if your chosen time is not available.

All of our risk assessment appointments are offered via NHS Near Me - a virtual video call that reduces unnecessary trips to the pharmacy. This is simple and easy to use - further information can be found here.

Useful tips before requesting an appointment:

  • Appointments last approximately 30 minutes and are per person

  • We advise you to bring a copy of your vaccine history to the risk assessment - these can normally be obtained via your medical practice

  • Appointments are per trip. If you are doing multiple trips in the upcoming year then we advise you to book an appointment for each - normally 6 weeks prior to travel.

During your risk assessment the team will discuss with you: your medical history, allergies and details of your upcoming trip. They can then advise you on health risks to which you may wish protection from. From here, the team will then get you booked in for any vaccinations or make arrangements to supply you with any recommended treatments such as anti-malarial chemoprophylaxis.
